Death Ride

Dr. Sellers has been in practice for about 25 years now. He still is very busy practicing medicine, but he does have some interesting hobbies that he persues in his limited time off. This last weekend he rode in the annual Death Ride . (Doesn't that sound like an invigorating option for your leisure time?) Anyway, the Death Ride is a 130 mile bike ride (yes, the kind that you peddle yourself) that is out of Lake Tahoe, California. What it amounts to, as far as I can tell, is riding up and down three mountains in the area (15,000 feet). The temperature of course can only be described as hot. It is completed in one day--unless of course you "expire". Hense the name "Death Ride". Dr. Sellers was able to complete the ride and returned to work Monday morning none the worse for wear--at least no visible wear. He will ride in several more bike races this summer, including Lotaja in September. He often goes for "little rides" of 50-60 miles just to keep in shape. It's pretty amazing. So when you're out and about, wave at all the bikers you pass--one of them may be Dr. Sellers.
