Sad Eyes

Do people ask you if you're sad?   Do they tell you that you look tired?  Do you wonder why?   It may be because your eyelids are drooping causing you to have a sad or unhappy look about you--even when you're actually feeling pretty good about life.    An upper eyelid blepharoplsty can take the heaviness out of the upper lids and make you look more refreshed and happier and can sometimes be paid for by insurance.   Call for some details as there is some fine print--as there always is when you get insurance involved with anything.   Start the year looking younger and happier    Upper eyelids can be done in the office under local anesthesia.   Sound intriguing?  Give us a call.

What a Woman Wants

Though a scarf and some fuzzy slippers are okay gifts, what many women really would die over would be a gift certificate to have something at Dr. Sellers office or at the Spa..   Now, you  have to be a little careful about this kind of thing.   I once had a neighbor who gave his wife an Ab roller for Christmas because she was always asking him if she "looked fat".  He thought that he'd been quite clever, however it was not well received.  The resulting "cold war" went on for months.   But, if your wife has talked about a breast augmentation for months and you've talked about doing something "someday", perhaps this would be a great opportunity.   Call and get some details.   Maybe just a gift certificate for  the Spa would be a great idea.  It beats another sweater, every time.

The Holidays are Here!

This is a great time to sit still for a minute and take a deep breath and evaluate  just what you want out of the holidays this year.  Can you even remember what anyone gave you for Christmas last year?    Unless it was a two week trip to Moscow you probably can't.   So don't worry yourself sick over getting everybody an gift.   Remember it truly is the thought that counts.   (with in reason, of course)  Friends and family, neighbors, are the things that count.

Another thought:   Commit right now to not gaining any weight this season.    It is absolutely possible to go back to work on January 2 the same weight you are today.   It takes a little self control and some planning but, it will be so worth it in the end.     That extra 10 pounds that so many just accept will happen are terribly discouraging and often, a permanent state.   And now's  no time to slack off on that excercise program!  Enjoy the holiday season but remember that a little planning can make all the difference.

Christmas is upon us!

'Tis the season.   You know what makes a terrific Christmas gift?   Just about any treatment from the Spa! Whether it's a relaxing deep facial, or a IPL laser for skin clarity, or a hydrafacial for deep cleaning and exfoliation or even laser hair removal--all would be excellent ideas.    Whether it's for a friend, or a Mother in law (let's face it, that's a tricky gift to buy) or your Mom or Sister or a co-worker, everyone loves to be pampered.   Call now (801-884-9934) and let Courtney our master aesthetician give you some ideas.  Not only is it something that would be really appreciated, it's really easy, too.

Flat Tummies Rock!

Remember when you were 16 years old and you went to the pool and your tummy was taut and flat and you were comfortable in your skin?   Remember not worrying about who might see you in that two piece suit or even worse who might not see you in that suit?
Now, flash forward 10-20 years--is that pool experience still as much fun?  For most of us, time and child birth has taken a toll on the contour of our tummies.      Even if you weigh the same as you did in high school, it's just not in the same place.   Sometimes abdominal skin can resemble bread dough--good in the bakery, not so much on our bodies.   But, do not despair.   There are things that can be done.  Tummy tucks, body lifts and liposuction can take you back to the good old days.   You owe it to yourself to get your questions answered and determine what can be done.   Don't wait.   We're all getting older every minute.
